I was happy to see paintings of iconic Ilkley sites painted in a fresh way by Richard Burel on our visit today, even Betty's tea room!
A fantastic array and variety of pictures and styles. The first "proper" gallery we have visited. Most galleries have run of the mill average local artists. But we also want to thank the Manageress Ellie who was SO helpful to my wife Tracey with ideas and insights in to how to get herself 'out there' with suggestions such as Etsy as a starting point. Tracey has been painting for 6 months now. Ellie was prepared to spend time talking to us and giving us ideas. A great asset to the business!!
Opening hours online suggested they were open but they were closed (Monday 22nd December).
By chance, popped in on the opening day, ended up buying a lovely Tom Butler limited edition print. Helpful and friendly staff, will be back to buy an original Mr Brainwash when I'm rich 😀
