A lovely hiking area. Ancient rock art, waterfalls, barren moorland, woods, ruins and multiple cross-cross paths. It’s a great place to walk. Some areas are easier to navigate than others so take a map/phone. It can get quite boggy and barren in the winter.

My first time at the Cow and calf rocks 🪨 A beautiful place to visit with good paths to get on to the top of the rocks. Stunning views across the valley. There is ample parking at the bottom.
