Great outdoor pool with lots of outside space, entry prices are pretty reasonable. It gets very busy on sunny days (online booking is advised to avoid the entry queues) but there is good lifeguard coverage and security on the door checking bags. Despite this some members of the public spoil the experience for others, some groups of youngsters swearing and smoking let it doen for families. Overall a good experience though. Make sure you pay for parking even if you are parked on tbe grass somewhere as loads of people were getting tickets today.

Went for ride out as couped up inside due to accident. Was a very hot day enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air , and was last day the pool was open, so lots of people taking advantage of the good weather and using pool, as well as going for walks around the Lido. Parking area and green area where you could have a picnic. Nice day out for families and everyone.

A superb open air pool with fantastic views of Ilkley Moor . Friendly and helpful staff . In heated pool but it's fine to wear long sleeve swim costume or wet suit . Pool at around 20 degrees after a few days of sun .

We went at 6pm on a weekday in the school holidays on a warm day. There were many like us hoping to have a proper swim, but there was only one very small section of the pool separated off for this (equivalent to a lane). The area for diving was bigger. This was a shame as the pool was starting to empty out but there were still a number of children in the areas that were deep enough to swim. It is a lovely setting and the pool was very refreshing, it is unheated. There are grassy areas where you can sit if you are planning to be there for a few hours. It is definitely aimed at families. It would be nice if Bradford Council set aside the last hour of opening for adult lane swims. The changing rooms are in serious need of a revamp - 3 showers, 2 sinks, 6 cubicles, dirty and wet everywhere. For £11.95 a swim, they should be much better than they are. Bizarrely we were asked twice to be quiet as there was a soundbath going on in the next room - this at the end of the evening when lots of people were showering (or queuing to shower!) and changing.
