The Cow and Calf rocks are beautiful, wild and very scenic set on the edge of Ilkley moor. There are a number of paths up on to the top where there are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and moorland. The paths are quite manageable with lots of seats around if needed for a rest or to take in the viewsThere is a car park and cafe that serves nice coffee and snacks. There are toilets as well. I would recommend that you visit here if you are in the area.

Beautiful place to walk. Difficult to cross the road in certain parts when heading back towards the car due to traffic. Could do with some signs to point to a trail back perhaps. My orientation skills aren't great though and so this might not be aproblem for others but I got lost.

Fabulous views from the rocks. We walked up from the town which was quite challenging as it’s a steep hill but we had a few stops along the way to admire the view. Pavement all the way. There is a free car park and a short walk to the rocks from it. Small cafe with good choice of drinks, food and ice cream. Clean toilets. Dogs allowed on leads. Highly recommended.
