•Ever get that feeling you’re stuck in a bit of a rut when it comes to going out? You end up at the same old places, ordering the same old drinks. Well, Be At One is shaking things up in a big way across its Leeds sites. The popular cocktail bar is rolling out a totally refreshed menu and an updated guest experience.
This isn't just a few new drinks scribbled on a chalkboard; it's a complete evolution of the brand, designed to make a trip there feel new and exciting again. This new concept aims to change the game, offering a fresh social experience for all kinds of occasions, from a quiet after-work catch-up to a full-on weekend party. And it seems people are loving it, as a trial of the new offer in London was a massive hit.

A fresh look for a familiar favourite
This whole new vibe for the Be At One brand isn't something that happened overnight. The new concept was first tested at its flagship bar in London's Piccadilly after a major investment and makeover. And the results? They were brilliant. The Piccadilly site saw its sales jump by over 30% after the relaunch, which shows that guests are really enjoying the updated format.
When something works that well, it makes sense to share the love. So, key parts of the successful Piccadilly concept, including the updated drinks menu and a new range of food, are now being introduced across all 32 Be At One sites, including the popular spots on Greek Street and Boar Lane in Leeds. This nationwide launch marks a real turning point for the brand, signalling a new chapter focused on a top-quality guest experience.
What’s new on the menu?
Right, let's get to the good stuff: the drinks. While Be At One has always been famous for its talented bartenders and buzzing atmosphere, this evolution is all about dialling up the quality and the social experience. The updated menu is more streamlined, but it’s packed with creative new serves.
One of the coolest additions is the new range of ‘Collab Cocktails’. Think of it like a DJ mashing up two of your favourite tunes to create a new banger. That's the idea here, but with cocktails. They’re taking two classic serves and blending them into one totally new drink. It’s a playful concept that’s perfect for anyone who has trouble picking just one cocktail from the menu. And for something a bit different, there are the new ‘Bellini Bumps’ and ‘Caviar Slammers’. Before you start imagining fish eggs, this isn't that kind of caviar. It’s a fun, fruity alternative - little pearls of fruit flavour, like passionfruit or strawberry, served alongside a shot of Prosecco. They pop in your mouth, releasing a burst of flavour. It’s a unique experience that makes your drinks a bit more interactive and is bound to be a hit with guests looking for something new.
The brand is also getting serious about a true classic: the Margarita. With a new ‘House of Margs’ focus, the bar aims to become the go-to place for the perfect Margarita. The new offer even includes £5 Margaritas during the week, which is a pretty great deal. And if cocktails aren't your thing, the drinks range has been expanded to include draught beer, with Moretti, Jubel, and Guinness now on tap. This has already proved a huge success at the Piccadilly site. To go with the refreshed drinks, there's also a new menu of bar bites and snacks, like chips and dips for £4, so you have something to nibble on. This new food and drink offer creates a much better social experience.

A bar for more occasions
This whole evolution isn't just about changing the menu; it's about changing how people use the bar. The brand wants Be At One to be a spot for all sorts of occasions, not just late-night parties. The idea is to create a flexible space where the atmosphere builds throughout the day but keeps its signature high energy into the evening. The aim is to boost its appeal for after-work drinks or early evening social catch-ups, while still being the place everyone knows and loves for a proper night out. The refreshed vibe makes it perfect for a wider range of guests and events.
The famous Happy Hour is still a big part of the offer, but it’s been updated. It now includes 2-for-1 cocktails, deals on beer and wine, and even a 2-for-£7 offer on shooters, making it great value. The entire guest experience has been re-thought to feel more special. This wider evolution also includes updated music and in-bar visuals, all inspired by the successful Piccadilly concept, to make every visit feel distinct and memorable.
Celebrating the new launch
To mark this new era, Be At One celebrated the launch in style. Giving a nod to the year the brand was founded, it offered drinks at 1998 prices over the weekend of 27th-29th March. That's a throwback! And the party didn't stop there. Over the Easter weekend, from 2nd to 5th April, the sites hosted a series of themed music events to showcase the bar's renewed energy. Here’s what the lineup looked like:
Thursday: Collabs and Remixes
Friday: Pop Classics
Saturday: 90s Revival
Sunday: Disco Party
The CEO of Stonegate Group, David McDowall, summed up the changes perfectly.
“Be At One has always been known for delivering incredible cocktail experiences and unforgettable nights out. What we’re doing now is building on that heritage and evolving the offer so that it feels even more relevant for today’s guests.”
“The success of the Piccadilly relaunch has shown how much appetite there is for a more versatile Be At One experience - one that celebrates the craft of our drinks, creates memorable moments for guests and works across more occasions, from daytime socials to late-night celebrations.”
“This next chapter is about dialling up what we do best while making sure every visit feels intentional, energetic and fun.”
So, with a refreshed menu, a more versatile experience, and a renewed energy, Be At One is ready for its next chapter. The evolution of the brand has created a more appealing offer, whether someone is after a classic cocktail, a pint of beer, or a playful caviar slammer.
