King Pins Leeds offers free game to first 50 guests on opening day

Leeds is getting a brand-new entertainment hotspot this summer — and early birds are in for a treat. King Pins, the “crown jewels of bowling,” is set to open its doors at the White Rose Centre on Thursday 15 August, and to celebrate, the first 50 people through the door will each receive a free game of their choice.

A family-friendly launch with games galore

From 9am, visitors will be greeted by King Pin Colin, the venue’s larger-than-life mascot, who’ll be on hand to cut the ribbon and officially open the newest King Pins location in style. Once inside, the first 50 guests can choose from a huge variety of activities, all under one roof.

• Ten-pin bowling
• Duck pin bowling (with shorter lanes, ideal for kids)
• Crazy pool (a mash-up of mini-golf and pool, exclusive to this venue)
• Tech darts
• Shuffleboard
• Ice-free curling
• American pool

A first for Leeds

The White Rose Centre site is the first King Pins venue to introduce crazy pool, bringing together the best of two classic games. It’s also a great opportunity to try out duck pin bowling, a more compact and playful alternative to traditional ten-pin, especially suited to younger players or newcomers to the game.
