Newly refurbished it looks brilliant! I came in with family on a Tuesday to celebrate my son’s birthday and to our surprise it was very busy even on a Tuesday. Although it was busy the food and service was excellent I would definitely recommend to others. The prices are also very reasonable.
I was visiting from Scotland and a friend recommended Shimla Spice. I'm glad he did! The place looks great. The staff were very warm and friendly and the food was terrific. I had the bone in lamb chefs special and it was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back!
Ordered a takeaway when it opened and went to pick it up which saves you 10%, took only 20min for a Saturday which is really good! The food was absolutely delicious. We got a fish jalfrezi, special korma, special tikka masala. The jalfrezi was full of a good portion of fish and a good variety in the specials. Would definitely order again.
Excellent as always. Recent refurb is great and the service is definitely better. We visit as much as we can and not been disappointed so far. The staff is very attentive and we like to have a little chat. Delicious food, even though my favourite dish is not on the manu anymore they have kindly prepared it for me with no problems.
Not been here for over 15 years (for no reason ) and we came on a spur of the moment decision early doors on a Saturday. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Food, service from every member of staff, and atmosphere all great, and the garlic naan was the best we’d had in years. It certainly won’t be 15 years until our next visit ! I’d be back next week given the chance! 👍🏼
