Dewars Restaurant And Rooms

Stayed here for a night's get away. The hotel was spotlessly clean , as was the pool and sauna. Staff lovely and friendly and the room was decorated beautifully. Breakfast was tasty and not greasy and everything felt of good quality. I would definitely start here again.

Beautifully decorated with a lovely pool, however I felt there was style over substance. The room was ridiculously hot. The fan provided gave off no breeze at all. The ‘private balcony’ was shared and had to leave through the door to get to it. When we checked in at 3.30, even though check in was 3, we were told to wait whilst it was checked that the room was ready. The bed was solid.. rock hard and uncomfortable. There was nowhere in the immediate vicinity.. apart from flamingo land across the road. Breakfast was quite minimal.. reasonable quality however, and service was pretty quick. Staff were friendly but I did feel like the front desk was a bit chaotic. With a few tweaks, it could be amazing.

We are currently staying here. I can say nothing but good things about this place! Rooms- Beautiful, peaceful, well thought out and designed. Ours over looks the pool, which is immaculate. Food - Excellent quality for the money, located in a beautiful restaurant and conservatory. Grounds - are so pretty and well kept, pool and sauna are modern and clean. Service - the best! Charming, polite, friendly and kind people. The service is outstanding, from meeting Stuart on arrival to all the young ladies and gentlemen. Would we recommend it? We booked a second night as soon as we arrived, it was that relaxing and impressive.

We have stayed here a few times now and it has been a 5 star, first class experience every time. The team are relentless in their desire to provide a helpful, accommodating and memorable experience - going above and beyond. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and kept to a very impressive standard across the board - a real treat having a heated swimming pool! Couldn't recommend Dewars more!

Lovely hotel , very pretty rooms all are fantastic decorated , throughout hotel , all members staff lovely throughout our stay, has a fantastic spa pool in the middle of hotel with loungers a round woodern sauna tropical settings on wall various options to choose showers toilets and lockers key rooms off pool superb as access to pool from that area with fantastic seating out rooms to chill relax very central to flamingo land across road , food breakfast was great choices array of baked items cereals yogurts and lovely cooked breakfast in the morning , I would defiantly recommend this hotel gem in Yorkshire relaxing stay good car park facilities too for electric cars too. We shall return again love all the decor lovely maintained by all who work in here.
