West Cornwall Pasty Co

Chanced upon this food cart at the A1 northbound service centre in Wetherby. Had the traditional cornish pasty - it was served hot and was delicious! Except for the hand-crimped part of the pastry which was too doughy, the pastry and filling tasted great together.

I was served by a young British Asian lady, who was very pleasant and helpful. This was the best cheese and onion pasty I have ever had, and was just what I needed to energise me for the last two and a half hours of my very long drive North in torrential rain. Many thanks.

Ordered 2 meal deals, that should of cost £13, was charged £14, as 1 of the pasties was large, hadn’t been informed in the first place, and said medium on information tag. I had already thought she didn’t seem very welcoming, and definitely didn’t handle situation very well, was almost rude. You get 3 Stars as the pasties were nice

Had the Xmas pasty today at Wetherby services - It was piping hot and full of potato chicken bacon and cranberry sauce. Really filling and so good!

Disgusting people. Ordered 2 pasties, one veggie, one cheese & onion (we are vegetarians). Took them home for dinner after a long trip from the North East. The 'veggie' one was full of meat. Mistakes can be made & the situation can be recovered with the right after-service. But their website contact option is virtually unusable. You fill it all out then you can't get it to submit. The email address on google comes back 'doesn't exist'. I finally got a contact form through with a complaint but they haven't even bothered to respond. £5 wasted on a pasty we couldn't eat & not even an apology.
