River House Bed & Breakfast - Malham, Skipton, Yorkshire Dales

A comfortable and beautiful B&B in an absolutely splendid location, within a mile or two of some spectacular natural sites. We slept really well here. Breakfasts were lovely and there was even some delicious home baking. Plenty of shared space downstairs and good, dependable broadband. Hope to return.

What a treat ! After looking for a suitable base for the Pennine barrier ultra , I found this gem of a B&b . Perfect location just a few minutes from the start line , incredible hospitality and a tasty breakfast. The hosts kindly provided me with a breakfast on race day the night before . Rooms were lovely, WiFi provided.

What a lovely place! Was one of our highlights during our stay on a Yorkshire Dales walking tour. The hosts were so kind and helpful, greeting us with freshly baked flapjack and warm pot of tea after a long walk. And helped us get our boots dry. The room was quaint and comfortable and breakfast the next day was delicious. Would stay again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River House. We received a warm welcome from proprietor Alex, who showed us to our room and made sure we had a flask of fresh milk so we could make some cups of tea while settling in. Some delicious home-baked goodies were also left on the side for us - a lovely touch! Our room was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated and had pleasant natural light. The breakfast was generous and delicious, with everything being made to order and served by Ann. We made use of the B&B's walking books and travel suggestions, to make the most of our time in the area. It was also really handy to be able to order packed lunches for a day out walking in the Dales. Overall we were really pleased with our stay at River House and would thoroughly recommend it for those looking for somewhere to stay in Malham!

We had a wonderful two night stay at this lovely B&B. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Alex and Ann made us feel welcome, and still laid on an excellent breakfast for us, despite us being the only people staying both nights. They also made us a hearty packed lunch for us to take out on our walk. The B&B doesn't allow dogs which was a bonus for us, and part of our reason for choosing it. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a great base for exploring the area.
