Good food and staff very friendly however, when we asked for the bill, the chap just said a price and offered the card machine.. It was way more than I'd worked out so I questioned.. He went away and returned saying he was no good at maths and said a figure £15.00 less but still no bill breakdown. Could have been a genuine mistake but all trust gone. We were planning to make a return visit before the end of the holiday but now won't be.
Strange pub that specialises in fish and chips. Consequently it smells like a fish shop even tho you're just having a drink. Football on screen and seems quite popular
Decent enough local pub. Stopped for a couple of post cycling pints. Nowhere to store bikes other than outside on pavement and was not warm enough to sit out, but could see from window so was OK. Don’t think this is a bike crime hotspot anyway lol. £4.10 for a pint of local ale.
Lovely food, lots of it. Quick service. Attentive staff. Well worth a visit
Usually I don’t right bad reviews so you’ll understand that the only good thing about this establishment was the bar man the rest you can judge by my no comment
