Recommended to me by a friend who had lived in the area for 40 years. I received an excellent service from them when I sold my house, including advice on CGT, which I hadn't realised I might have to pay. I found it helpful to know the names of the team who could assist me if Sally, the solicitor working on my case, was unavailable.

We cannot recommend Sally at KW enough!! If you want a job done quickly...go to Sally. She is totally focussed to get the job done correctly, in the least possible time, beneficial to herself and her clients. Lovely lady, very helpful, responsive and knowledgeable, we have used her twice now when moving house and wouldn't use anyone else no matter where we lived in the UK!!

I emailed them seeking advice in a complex personal matter which seemed to accord with their published services. After a week of no reply I phoned and a rude woman found my email after a search, read the first paragraph and declared they were not interested. I asked her to get a lawyer to look at it properly and get back to me. But after another week no call came back.

Stuart (and the team) are really good. He went above and beyond to sort the complicated situation of my purchase and sale. He was the only one in the chain who seemed to put the effort in and get stuff sorted. Pricing is good too. Never use your estate agents solicitor and get a much better independent!

We bought our dream home and used kitching walker as the solicitors.. they were unbelievably, extraordinarily amazing! Stuart (our solicitor) was responding to my very complex questions about our purchase(a grade 2 listed building) in a way that I could understand. Forget the larger, well known organisations... I'd recommend Stuart and kitching walker to ANYONE who needs a property solicitor!!
