Absolutely fantastic and the best hosts you could hope for. Breakfast was out of this world and the room was perfect! The weather and flooding on the second day couldn’t detract for a minute from the care and concern shown by Karen and Chris, thank you so much for your hospitality.
Our second visit and it won't be the last. Very comfortable and welcoming. The food is excellent and the hosts are amiable and accommodating. Can thoroughly recommend you pay them a visit. Ideal situation for discovering North Yorkshire and the East Riding.
The location is beautiful and teaming with wildlife. The hotel is fascinating and they have done an excellent job converting the mill, maintaining interesting features and lots of personality. Lots of wardrobe space and good mirrors in the comfortable, inviting bedroom. Breakfast is delicious and cooked to order with great coffee. The deep bath feels very luxurious and the beds are heavenly. The hotel is well maintained and the owners are very nice and very helpful. A pleasure to stay at and would highly recommend.
Fantastic mini break, lovely setting, the whole place oozes character. Room spacious, bed super comfy and huge! Breakfast was amazing and Karen couldn’t have been more friendly/helpful and accommodating. We look forward to a return visit.
I have stayed here twice on visits to Kirkbymoorside, where I used to live. It is always a haven of peace and tranquillity, and the room was most comfortable. (The bed is a little firm for me, but that's due to my 90-year old back!) The bathroom is lovely, great shower, and the breakfasts are terrific! Family-run, the service is impeccable, and it is altogether a great place for a stay.
