Kirkheaton Dental Surgery

I can't rate Kirkheaton dentist highly enough. Alia and Michaella have been absolute superstars. I recently had a tooth extraction, my first one and I was such an anxious patient, I always am at the dentist and they couldn't do enough for me. Alia is so calming and talks through everything with you and Michaella was such a comfort. Thank you so much to everyone at Kirkheaton Dentist as I know I was hardwork lol! xx

Called to ask if they are accepting any NHS patients and the reception asked if I was local, because I didn’t live local they just said “oh no, no” less than ten miles away from a dentist i don’t expect to be treated like this. How are you possibly meant to be accepted in a dentist anywhere when people have this attitude . I drive, I work, why does it matter if I don’t live 2 streets away. Seems you need a new reception with better attitude , she wasn’t interested in helping at all.

The staff were lovely, made sure to take breaks when I needed them. And talked me through the process 🩷

Absolutely brilliant, I haven’t been to a dentist in the last 12 years due to fear. This was a very positive experience the staff are great putting me at ease, keeping me informed throughout and explaining all the procedures step by step. Highly recommend.

Could not recommend the practice enough, from my own experience and that of my childrens. The receptionists are always so lovely, helpful and easy to chat to whilst waiting for your app. As a parent its super important that my children are made to feel safe and comfortable, Dr Alia in particular is absolutely amazing with them both. She was able to put my very anxious daughter at ease and explains every detail to them so well, and answers all their never ending questions. She is honestly the only reason my daughter is no longer anxious to visit, and why my son (7) was so easy going about having some of his stuburn baby teeth removed. I've also experienced the staff going above and beyond when my son had broken an adult tooth, fitting him in during a busy day to fix it. Forever grateful for that!! I'm also made to feel extremely comfortable and have every option for treatments explained. Having not had the best experience at a previous practice, I can honestly say I wouldn't ever want to go elsewhere. Thanks so so much to everyone who works there.
