Be aware of rude volunteers here! 99 percent of voulenteers here are friendly and helpful. But it's just the odd one when you come that are really rude to the point of having to say something. But despite this it's worth a visit for the good work they do for the community. Just be aware you may get more than you bargained for in the way your talked at ...not to.😔 There are plenty of classes baby's and toddlers help groups and food bank as well as pay as you feel for items after 10am.
Lovely building. But I wish the Tuesday dinner kitchen staff wouldn't hover around gossiping in the kitchen, when the Orb dementia group need to be in there. They hire the room needed , but some and I mean only some dinner / kitchen staff like to be awkward .
Not only are all the team fantastic and will go out there way to help you but the food is outstanding it's a lovely friendly atmosphere and also a brilliant place to meet up with family and friends,not just that some people don't get out much and look forward to taking a break from the norm,
Warm welcome on arrival. Menu has something for everyone and delicious food. All volunteers who work really hard.
Nice , clean & spacious venue only criticism I have , is every time ( & I mean everytime!! ) I go to the tiolet the person before hasn't flushed it !
