Really lovely little library. As a breastfeeding mum to an eight week old baby boy, the library offers a safe haven to nurse my baby. I also attended a breastfeeding group the following week which was a fantastic experience where healthcare professionals assisted me with any questions regarding feeding my son. There is a lovely selection of books for children and I know that as my baby grows older, this will be a place we visit regularly.
Staff and vulnenteers are always helpful and kind. The services on offer are perfect for my needs as a local person without a printer. Great for children, parents, tourists... Everyone!
I went in because I was in need of a postage label printing off. I asked if I could pay them to print it for me. The staff member called Dawn came charging out of nowhere and was really rude. Terrible attitude. Unfriendly. I won't be going kn there again!
The staff in this library are so so lovely. I went in today to print a shipping label off as my printer ran out of ink and the lady serving me went above and beyond, she even nipped to her car to lend me her charging cable for my phone as I hadn't realised it was about to go flat, and I needed to download an app to do my printing. They are always so friendly and helpful. The library itself is a hidden gem in Knaresborough town centre, there is a quiet room, computers, a gift shop, refreshments, a building society counter and they even sell reading glasses! That's not including an excellent selection of books to borrow.
A great community hub! Went with my daughter during the week and we sat in the kids section and read some stories together. No worries about making too much noise. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The whole place had a really good buzz about it.
