We visited The Hart for the first public screening of "Tinsel Town", and we didn't know how it would work to be honest; but the venue had put in plenty of effort - moving pool tables and bringing in loads of extra seating. Everyone had space, and the view of the screens was perfect. Then they brought round popcorn for free which we thought was a really nice touch, but it didn't stop there! They then brought everyone a festive food box that had been put together specially for the night from local businesses - this was brilliant! It had fun Christmas things in like Twiglets, Celebrations and Cheese and Pineapple on sticks, but also home made sausage rolls, pigs in blankets and and fresh sandwiches. Half our group are vegetarian and the vegetarian box was equally well thought out, with hummus, fancy sandwiches and hand made Veggie Sausage Rolls - honestly we were blown away! It was the absolute perfect place to see Knaresborough on screen and the attention to detail went well above and beyond expectations, The Hart is always a good pub and this really underlined it, top marks!

I like this place. It's the place in the area to go play some quiet darts or have a game of pool. Sine of the drinks are cheap and the bar staff are always lovely. There is a nice smoking area in the back too. Topless bar maids haha!
It is what it is T least they have the dj back on Friday. Staff are lovely. Loos leave alot to be disared. But it the only late taste in Gate Has a bad rep but personally has always enjoyed with no problems
Nice big pub. Saw a great band 'Tom silcox & Chris Kramer ' they were amazing!! Hopefully they will be back. Nice friendly staff.
