Stopped for a drink after a walk round the area. They have a good selection of beers and wines, and the food looked good, but we didnt try anything, which is why I havent given 5 stars. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and its dog friendly too! The decor is cool and we enjoyed the atmosphere We will definitely try the food next time we are in the area

Went on a Saturday around 3pm and it was super busy. But the queue moved quickly and our food came quickly. We got scampi and chips with mushy peas which was great (a tad pricey but it was a big portion). A little girl got stung by a wasp next to us and a waitress brought her some ice/was very attentive! We did have random people coming and sitting on the spare seats at our table (they didn’t speak to us at all, just sat themselves down) which we found odd but not really the pub’s fault. Overall would recommend, maybe during the week when it’s a bit quieter!

Only our second ever visit to Knaresborough and first to this lovely pub. Casta and Jorvic ordered the Daleside 3.7% Ale for me. A good traditional real ale. A surprisingly large pub with a rear dining area and large suntrap side beer terrace on two levels where you can find a pizza oven on the lower tier.

Quite pricey, however the food is absolutely delicious. Stake and ale pie with vegetables and gravy, I do recommend. Lovely welcome and attentive staff. Dog friendly for anyone with doggies. I will be coming again, thank you.
