Nice little spot with staff who are very helpful. We went with a big party and think we pushed them to their limits with the amount of servings they could do at once. But they did well and the food came out in a decent amount of time. It seemed to be all freshly prepared and tasted really good. The veggies were a little different with nice sweet carrots and parsnips. The cut of pork was different to what you often get and one I much preferred, possibly belly with some great flavour. One pork was a bit dry but others were good. We sat out the back which was a nice area that had the train station over the back so the kids got very excited every time a train pulled up which was nice. The dogs enjoyed themselves as well. All in all a very nice experience.
We made a last minute booking to go for food and the owner was really accommodating. We arrived early too but they let us go straight to our table. The food was great as well as the service. We will definitely go back.
What an amazing spot with very tasty tapas options 🙂 Also if you like watching trains go by, the roof bar provides an unique train spotting opportunity as you can secure a table overseeing the station
Lovely dog friendly gastropub in a central position! Service with a smile, delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. We opted for the Wednesday steak special and it was perfect for us. Highly recommend. (Fabulous unexpected beer garden view of the railway lines and viaduct from above!)
Had a wonderful meal here Menu met all our needs , great choice of fish meat pasta tapas . The ambience and decor exceptional and relaxing. The service was attentive , speedy and thoughtful Quality of the food exceptional Thoroughly recommend and will return Thankyou
