Absolutely superb. From the moment we booked out Christmas lunch with Andi and the team to the moment we walked out, absolutely stuffed, we were well looked after, well fed and had great value for money. Not been here before, we have just moved to the area and what a find. Huge menu to choose from but we went with the not so traditional Christmas menu was some interesting twists. To be honest, we were all feeling pretty full after the starters!!! Everything was great and they appreciated that we were there in our lunch hour and so service was quick and efficient without hurrying us with our food. We will certainly be going back…. Maybe more than once!!
I’m visiting Knaresborough and didn’t feel like eating in. They kindly packed a delicious SO! Classic gluten and dairy free burger and chips for me to eat at my B&B. So tasty!! Great awareness of dietary restrictions with so much choice 😋was so impressed returned for the gluten free grilled chicken gyros.
Our first visit to this amazing bar and restaurant, first I have to say that my wife is coeliac, very sensitive to gluten. SO! must have the largest menu we've ever seen catering to those with a gluten allergy, and I don't just mean that everything is a jacket potatoe with different toppings, the non gluten containing menu is, apart from a couple of exceptions identical to its counterpart. The staff, Lara and Will were both aware of my wife's allergy and very pleasant and friendly. So if you're in Knaresborough looking for something amazing to eat, put your phone away and get round there now, I can recommend the Phish burger with curry sauce and the lemon meringue was quite possibly the best dessert I have ever had, oh and 0% Guinness on draught as well. We will be back......
Traveled down to the area from Newcastle for the first time. Had been out walking and decided to try find somewhere to eat. We spotted this place on the corner after checking out a few other places in and around the streets. Decided to give it a shot and we weren’t disappointed! Service was great and staff very friendly. Food arrived quick and it was perfect! Ordered onion rings and was expecting a small amount as per usual from other bars but they were massive and quite a lot! The burgers were perfect too! Great place to eat highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back when we travel down again!
