Passing through today to go to Mother Shiptons Cave and fancied some fish and chips, this place popped up on the Sat-Nav Great food! The lads working today were really friendly and kind! Would recommend this fish shop to anyone. Will be going back near Halloween when we are next in the area! Thanks guys
We use The Wharfe of Knaresborough for our staff Fish and Chip staff treat on a Friday once a month, we've tried all the shops in Knaresborough. And this is by far consistently the best. We usually order for 6 - 10 people. The food is hot and the fish is always crispy and generous portions. We are very happy to recommend them - From MJ Ryder Heating.
Paid £2.50 for this box of chips , asked for regular got small , very disappointed. However the curry sauce was banging 👌🏼
I used to get my chippy tea from here before the new owners took over and although it was nice it wasn’t the same as their other chippy on Skipton Road. After reading a lot of negative posts we decided to swerve getting our food from here but one day out of convenience I went and order fish bites and chips and sausage and chips, well to say that it was good is an understatement. The fish bites were proper fish bites, 10 of them and they weren’t big they were what they should be, fish bites!! The chips were amazing, not greasy. The whole experience was top notch, and the people behind the counter especially the fryer were great, very helpful and extremely friendly. Chuffed to bits now with the Wharf Chippy, try it, you won’t be disappointed guys.
Love nearby and first try - surprisingly good - super efficient service and friendly - will definitely revisit.
