Quaint cafe tucked away behind cobbled streets. A beautiful, warm welcome and lots of choice. Had a nourishing jacket potato with a spiced ginger tea. Great awareness of dietary requirements as I’m gluten and dairy free. Friendly service and they took the time to check all was okay with my meal.

My wife had been before and said it was really nice, so we came to Knaresborough for lunch. The food was very good. I had a coronation chicken sandwich and a tuna and cheese toastie, my wife had an avocado sandwich, and our son had a ham and cheese toastie. I finished with a slice of Victoria sponge, which was tasty and a good size. The only downside was one waitress who came across as a bit rude to some customers, but overall we enjoyed it.

Cute little tea room with tasty sandwiches! I had a BLT which was filling and tasty, though it did take nearly 40 minutes to arrive which was a little surprising. We had a one-year-old with us and they very kindly brought out a high chair for us and when her dad left for the briefest of moments to use the facilities, the staff helped to soothe and distract the little one, which was adorable.

Called for lunch today with my husband and daughter and grandson on the recommendation of a friend. Had lunch and cake. Absolutely beautiful ceasar salad and Bakewell tart. Lovely place and very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit and we’ll definitely be back
