Feels traditional, and the value for money is unbeatable. In a nutshell, it has a historical feel, like being back in the 1600s. Seems to be family-run with super cheap prices. Everything was delicious. The only issue was the radio playing ads, which I didn't enjoy. Staff are not very friendly, but honestly, the quality, price, and atmosphere all make it worth a visit.

A truly beautiful experience at the Lavender Tea Room. The French-blend coffee was excellent, topped with foam and a heart design. The tea room itself is set in a stunning Tudor half-timber property in the heart of Knaresborough, full of charm and character. The service was impeccable — every member of staff was lovely, and the whole place had such a calming energy. It felt like stepping back to a time before the hustle and bustle of modern life. The food was delicious. I had a country-style thick back bacon sandwich served on fresh tomato bread, which was absolutely spot on. I’m already looking forward to trying more from the menu. When you visit, don’t miss the quaint shop below, filled with a wonderful variety of goodies to take home.

It’s a lovely tearoom. Very good service. On the first floor of the oldest chemist in the UK I think. I think the coffee and the breakfast is all right, I prefer grilled or baked tomatoes rather than fresh tomatoes on the Full English, but I do like the building itself, the old country style inside, the old pictures. The staff is very friendly with good service.

Friendly lunch spot, visited several times when travelling through Knaresborough. Good sandwiches and a very cosy vibe to hide out the rain when the weather is poor.

Stopped here for lunch on a misty day in October. Initially there were no tables available, so the lady kindly sat us down to wait & offered drinks whilst we waited. Once seated I ordered the homemade cheesy cauliflower & broccoli soup with a Wensleydale cheese sandwich with chutney & a side salad. The soup was so thick & warming & extremely tasty & you could definitely tell the coleslaw was homemade too. My husband had homemade sweet potato & pepper soup with crusty bread which he thoroughly enjoyed. It had definitely been worth the wait for the table, as all the food was delicious, the staff polite & friendly & I would most definitely go back again. We enjoyed our visit very much. Thank you
