I'm a big supporter of the NHS, but when you are 3 appointments backed up at 7:38am, surely someone needs to be looking into why this place is unable to run even remotely on schedule? By 8:10 I couldn't wait any longer and had to leave for work. Shambles

The waiting room environment is genuinely unpleasant. The radio is blasting at a volume that’s far too loud, and at the same time there’s a TV playing different information — it’s chaotic and not at all relaxing, which is exactly what you don’t want when waiting for a medical appointment. The only magazines available are gardening ones — no variety, nothing for anyone else to read. And there’s nothing at all for children — no toys, books, or anything to keep them occupied. It feels cold, unwelcoming, and badly thought through. A GP surgery should be a calm and supportive place. This isn’t.

Never had any issues with this practice until they introduced their new online triage system. It opens after I start work and when I finish at 2.30om it's always paused meaning I cannot ever use it. I messaged the surgery explaining I need an appointment but am unable to use the triage system and got a reply saying I need the use the triage system. Totally excluding any patient who cannot access their websiteduring a three hour window on a morning is an utter disgrace. Whoever thought this was an improvement clearly didn't think it through.

I could not recommend this surgery enough. After several serious medical issues over the past few years, whether it’s the practice partners or Locum (visiting staff) they excel. The reception team are also great. In this current climate where all NHS staff are over worked and underpaid. These guys still really go above and beyond.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a really good practice. All of the staff are efficient , professional and friendly. If you ask for a call back, they ring you back swiftly. Dr Walsh is an excellent local GP.
