I've been with Eastgate for three years, staff have always been helpful but I'm getting really fed up with everything moving online. Goodness knows how elderly people navigate this farce of a system; people just want to talk to a real person. You can't phone for an appointment or prescription but when you go online the service isn't always available. When it is it takes ages writing it all down then you wait for a text/call only to be given an appointment in five weeks! Can't ring at 8am to see if any cancellations to get seen sooner. I tried to order prescription today only to see the items I really need have to be reviewed - no warning of this! So I try to make an appointment and the service isn't available across all three platforms (NHS, Airmid and Systm Online) it's nearly the weekend and I could run out before I can see anyone. Really poor, please go back to how it was.

Been with this surgery all my life but very disappointed with them now. Cannot see doctors when you need to I mean tell me how can a doctor diagnose a respiratory tract infection over the phone and prescribe antibiotics to someone who has a for many years had asthma ? Not like the days when Dr Banks, Dr Iddon were there they cared about their patients.

I've been with this surgery ten years now. Appointments (as with all doctors) can sometimes be hard to get, but they've always fit me in when I've really needed to see them. All the doctors and nurses I have met have been lovely which definitely helps if you're feeling under the weather. Lovely, friendly surgery.

Called into Eastgate Surgery this morning to sort out prescription and make several appointments..Lizzy was so polite, helpful, understanding and efficient..thank you! Also thanks to Lizzy's colleague who later re-arranged an appointment. Much appreciated!!

Im a new patient. But so impressed with service so far. Jay was fantastic !! I ran in at 5.55pm to find them still open. All willing and smiling, forms all done quickly and efficiently !! Looking fwd to a healthy future !!
