Would highly recommend AGA to anyone. Alger & Carlyle are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We have used their services for both routine plumbing and heating jobs and also emergencies. The most recent being a gas leak at my mum’s property. Again they were both very efficient, making time to fit my mum in even though they are were very busy. We both feel like they go over and above to fit the work in despite how busy they may already be. I am confident they know exactly what they are doing, they don’t do unnecessary work and their charges are fair. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Alger and Carlisle were great. Fitted a new flue kit alongside a boiler service and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Friendly and professional. Definitely recommend!
Avoid! We paid an alternative plumber £450 to fix a shower. AGA inflated the work needed & quoted significantly in excess of this (greater than 50% more !!). Dodgy, unscrupulous outfit. The sad thing is many customers don't have the capacity to smell a rat. Happy outcome however given we avoided parting with another £250. Good luck all.
AGA Plumbing is such a breath of fresh air! They turn up when they say they will, they provide a quote promptly, and they work a very long day to get the job done. They responded extremely quickly when we had no heating and two young children in the house - other plumbers declined to even quote, or couldn't come for several weeks. So we got them back to do more work in the summer, replacing radiators and the old cylinder. Alger and his apprentice were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout. We're very pleased to have found a reliable and professional plumber!
SAGA Plumbing were called in to fix a leak. This was a simple fix as proven by a competent plumber who followed up after the SAGA fiasco. SAGA visited us twice and attempted the sell tactic which implies the job is much bigger than reality. Not falling for this we called on a plumber with integrity who made good the connection, solving the leak. To make the experience worse, SAGA attempted to double charge us for the call out.
