White & Company Removals Knaresborough

We moved into a block of flats, so we asked on the WhatsApp group, who they recommended for removals, and Whites came up more than once, so we went with them, and they were marvellous ! They were very experienced, and fatherly , the way they went about the job. They were patient, and took great care with the stuff . They listened to what we said, and just got on with the job with minimum fuss & bother . Cant recommend them highly enough . They did what it said on the tin - so unusual , these days ! Mrs M REEVEY

I contacted the team here with a rather difficult full house removal from the North East to the South as I was not in the UK. From the initial call to the end this company was First Class. I would highly recommend White & Company for your removal needs.

I cannot rate this company highly enough. From their very competitive prices to the excellent service they offered on a long distance removal. The communication was efficient and useful, all of the staff were friendly and professional.

I wouldn’t ever hire this company. We paid for a simple move as well as insurance for any damage. Five days before we moved, we bought a new TV from Amazon, which remained in the box ready to be moved. Within 24 hours of completing the move we noticed a big hole in the side of the box. After filling out the appropriate paperwork for a claim, it was denied. Here were some of the following excuses: 1. We can’t prove what was in the box 2. Our movers don’t make mistakes 3. Movers didn’t notice any damage when it was moved. (As if they do a 360 degree check crossing the threshold of your house) 4. We did it (we destroyed a brand new tv????) 5. The seller on Amazon has bad reviews (98% positive reviews) It turns out all of that was not true. We had placed labels on the boxes to indicate which room everything should be place and on the TV box within 10 cm of the hole was a label; which I clearly would have noticed while placing it in the box. After discussing with this with the Insurance company eventually they refunded the amount minus £20.00. I am not happy about that but what a waste of time to recover it. If anyone has ever dealt with Amazon it is far easier to go through them to for returns then third party insurance. Amazon and this seller is far easier process.

I had an excellent service from White & Company removals. They got on with the job and were amenable to my requests. The men were polite, friendly and worked so hard on the day. Not a single thing broken or lost, everything was put in the correct rooms and I even arrived at my new house after the van and my food was already in the fridge and freezer, fabulous! I got many quotes and they were the cheapest by far. I definitely recommend these guys, I was so happy with the service.
