If you visit Knasborough, visit this bakery. That’s all that needs to be to be said. It does some of the best cream cakes you will ever taste.

I don't go to Knaresborough very often but Hirsts Bakery is a very good reason to do so. They still had a good selection of cakes and baked goods, even though I popped in towards the end of the day. The treats I took home were delicious and the Yorkshire Parkin deserves a special mention, as it was probably the best I've ever had! The counter service was also excellent.

very friendly staff, great value for money in my opinion (a ham bap and a slice of chocolate fudge cake approx £6) and the food!! ingredients in the sandwich were fresh with nice tasting mayo and the bread was soft. the cake was also soft and not too sweet or sickly at all. will definitely be returning

There's a line but quick. Lots of varieties, I was torn as what to get. Quiches, Pastis, cakes, bread, so much more. Got two quiche and a bottle of water for £8.

Super bakery just off the market square. Friendly service and delicious cakes. Wife says the apple pies is the best she's ever had. Jolly good sausage rolls too
