I love coming into this shop, the lady behind the counter is lovely and helpful. However be careful as the big changing room is communal and I had no idea. No signs or anything indicating that it is. There were men in the shop prior to this happening so I felt really uncomfortable and still feel a bit shaken (this has never happened before and I’m almost 30) as I was changing out of a dress, a woman just walked in on me like it was normal? She did say sorry but I have always trusted that the curtain being closed was enough indication needed that someone is using that room. Never going to a changing room again with a curtain unless I have a friend stand by it. Mortified!!
First found Harriets at the great Yorkshire show. Then last week we went to Knaresborough and found the shop. Beautiful clothes handbags and accessories. Definitely worth a visit. The ladies there were very helpful and Friendly. Great shopping experience.
What an awful experience today, I shop in Harriets loads, the lady behind the counter was so miserable so unwelcoming, turned around looking out of the window instead of being welcoming. What a different experience to the Thirsk branch

Lovely selection of clothes. I have bought dresses and casual jackets there. Good value for money, and friendly, helpful service.
