Terrible experience. I went to the store to get the bubble tea released in collaboration with the Winx Club, but I didn’t get it. I placed my order using the kiosk, but it never appeared on their screens. I had to ask about it to find out. The girl at the counter had no idea about the new Winx Club collaboration promotion. She had to message her manager to ask, as there was no supervisor in the store. Even her manager didn’t know anything about the promotion and told me to come back next week, but they’re not even sure if the promotion will be available then.
Our first visit to Chatime & Wei’s Malatang was nice! The staff were friendly and explained the process of choosing your ingredients from the cabinet to handing them over to the cooked fresh, making it easy for a first-timer like me. The malatang was delicious, with a rich broth and the perfect level of spice—great to have full control over the heat! There was also a wide variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. The milk teas from Chatime were lovely, flavourful, and a perfect match for the hotpot to cool the spice. Great food and lovely staff. However, the price was fairly expensive for the dish. Nearly £35 for the food and drinks.
Always my go-to spot for comfort food! I highly recommend the Hot n Spicy Broth or the Tomyam broth. Tastes exceptional in a rainy day. Been re-ordering and re-visiting as well. Nothing beats a nice hot bowl of Malatang in this weather.
I was shocked to find this in my drink when almost finished with it. Taro milk tea has always been my favorite, but this experience was such a nightmare and has left me very disappointed. I am deeply concerned about the quality and hygiene. It is completely unacceptable.
Ordered through Ubereats and paid £25 for such a small plate. The mala dish was bland and the varieties of condiments were very little. We ordered sesame sauce and it has turned bad, tasted very sour. The scent of the dish was not very fresh either. Overall very bad quality and definitely not worth the price!
