Unfortunately just realised my son's 6 monthly supply of medication that he was prescribed and given in July 2025 actually not only had the wrong dosage been printed on the labels!! I checked last night the expiry was actually July 2025. Disgusting service and will be making a formal complaint. No doubt this review will also generate a pathetic please call our customer service line "if you're not happy" response. Medication isn't prescribed lightly. I think you need to realise this is people's lives you are dealing with and a generated response is appalling

Was given a ticket number for my prescription and waited checking the board. Nearing the time of closing there were a couple of patients waiting outside, one was brought her prescription by a member of staff who turned around and then started to part close the shutters ready for closing. It was the same member of staff that I had spoken to less than an hour before about waiting for my prescription this afternoon, he abruptly told me the store was about to close. I explained I was still waiting for my prescription as the board had not indicated it was ready to collect yet. His manner was rude and patronising and he stated that I should have come in and collected the prescription. So what is the point of the ticket and board system then?? I was told I couldn’t have my prescription today so I asked what to do and I was told “come back tomorrow” I said I can’t come back tomorrow and the statement was merely repeated come back tomorrow…rather than reassuring that I could come any day to collect it. He managed to say Tomorrow or any other day after the third time of me saying I could not return tomorrow. He wasn’t listening to me at all. I was seen late in out-patients and have to travel a 3 hour round trip to get to Leeds. I have had to collect a prescription close to closing time before and previously and the staff didn’t behave like this. I have never been treated and spoken to so rudely. Things are difficult enough when you have cancer without a rude Boots employee speaking to you in such a patronising way

Picked up the prescription in good time frame and they obviously follow what's on the prescription but after getting home I realised the doctor prescribed x3 and I mean x3 tablets only of antihistamines that I have plenty of at home. Nearly 10 pounds this cost me for only three tablets of antihistamines. Why did they not turn around and advise I don't need to pay the prescription price for those. I could have bought like five boxes at the supermarket for that price they are still 10mg, nothing special. Just been robbed by this place. There doesn't seem to be any courtesy or advice given on saving money anymore just greed greed greed

Friendly service with a smile by lovely Ella. Also, to say the waiting area was quite busy, my prescription was dispensed quite quickly. All in all, excellent service by staff.
