Lovely reservoir to walk around, really peaceful and lovely view's. Recommended for a leisurely walk. Will go back when next in the area.
Shroom heaven in autumn. The walk around the reservoir is great to get the heart ticking and clear a few cobwebs. Parking is always tricky as this place is very popular so arrive early or mid afternoon.
A good free carpark with easy access down to Langsett Reservoir plus a café & pub nearby for facilities. The size isn't massive so arrive early to not miss out on a space. The spaces are of a decent size and spaced fairly well apart too.
Car park is too small for the number of visitors. However, easy access. Free. Well maintained. Great starting location for a walk and Langsett Reservoir
The quieter of the reservoirs in the Peak District. Has toilets and a free car park. Be ready to slow down and take a sharp turn as the turn in to the car park is hidden due to nature / trees. Nice walking paths and lovely views!
