Set off for a stroll along the banks of the reservoir and ended up doing the longer version up and over the moors. Wow! It was hard going on some of the climbs but the views were a welcome distraction and the local history points along the way added to the experience. Definitely a boots on walk but absolutely worth the effort!
Fantastic place for walks with or without dogs. The only down side is there isn't any bins while you're out walking but other than that its great
Good clean toilets open 9am to 5pm
Beautiful spot, great walk, gets the blood pumping. The loos were super clean. Such a lovely place. Has picnic tables in centre if the car park which is surrounded by towering trees, planning another visit again soon.
Returned to Langsett, first time in many years,how lovely to walk down through the trees to the water and watch a magnificent sunset. Great carpark and paths, sadly very popular and you need to be there early to bag a space. We only called in to walk the dogs after car journey late in the day and everyone was leaving after having long walks over the Moors. Ideal for families.
