Poets Cottage Shrub Nursery

Fabulous nursery with a stunning range of beautiful, healthy plants. We were lucky enough to be staying in Lealholm just 20 yards from the entrance. Doubly lucky as my daughter and her partner came to stay for a few days and had plenty of space in their car to get the plants home! The owners are very knowledgeable, helpful & friendly and the nursery is a beautiful space to wander around. If you're in the area you should definitely visit, I guarantee you'll come away with at least one purchase. The only problem is I've now got to find room in my garden for all the lovely plants we bought 😊

Stumbled across this truly amazing quintessential village garden nursery today. What a little gem! Picture this....blue skies, dappled sunrays peeking through the the beautiful foliage. Bees and butterflies settling on colorful flowers as you walk along the windy grass path in the secret garden. So tranquil. Bliss. Everything looked so healthy and so well cared for. Will return to make purchase. Brilliant.Well done!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brilliant little find, extremely friendly and knowledgeable owners, great selection of plants and ornaments all reasonably priced. All the plants were well looked after too. Will definitely visit again when staying in the area.

Love it here! A proper plant nursery that sells decent plants. Beautiful place with a sheltered little seating area where you can take a few moments to just stop and listen to the birds and relax. Whenever we’ve been we have always received great customer service and always feel able to ask for help if needed.

Bought some quality plants from here on our way to an electrical job at the Lion inn at Blakey ridge. Graham electrical solutions love this little nursery very much.😁
