Holbeck opened in 1865. It has a lot of interesting and famous people there. It was used to film an episode of DCI banks and for the recent film with Helen Mirram and Jim Broadbent "the duke". It's the subject of the famous V poem. The Friends of Holbeck Cemetery hold records. You can volunteer there to keep the site maintained, the last Wednesday of every month 10am for a few hours. Just turn up in old clothes. Everything supplied and all ages welcome although under 16s need an adult and 16-18 need consent.
