A stunning church with a really beautiful graveyard. The fact that nature has been allowed to take over provides a very atmospheric environment which is surprisingly peaceful.

Lovely visit. A beautiful church and tour. On Tuesday in term time only there is a cafe. Lovely fresh food served. Try the brocoli soup. Pay what you feel. Lovely friendly staff. Sunday service 3 times.

Not only is this a place of worship, interest, and Historic value, it also is a Sanctuary to those in need. It houses the Food Bank where people who need food can go when given a form to get food to ensure that they get at least 2 meals a day. The people running this enterprise are caring, friendly, understanding each situation as it presents itself. All who go there are in the same boat, and are treated in the same way. You can talk to them when you are at your lowest ebb and not be criticised for the position you have found yourself in, and they wkll help you to the best of their abilities.

Had a very positive meeting with some leaders in local churches, who are committed to serving the people in this great city of Leeds. Supper afterwards.
