Okay venue, with a good location, and occasionally decent parking. However, I think there's room for improvement, in terms of updating the toilets and the decor. Would be a great regeneration project, as it's in the heart of the community.
Came here for a friend's marriage ceremony, was reasonably clean and well kept for a community centre, parking is limited to around 2 dozen cars and the area where it is questionable as well just off of Roundhay road. I'd say capacity would be for at least 350 people with kitchen facilities and wash facilities ideal for a small to med sized event.
Large venue, has a large kitchen for catering and a green room for artists. Has a built in sound system and projector facility as well as a large stage. Reasonably cleaned. May benefit from some modernisation. Only main issue can be parking is not proportionate to the full number of guests that can be accommodated in the venue. Parking in the side roads are also not easy to find.
Decent community centre, but needs a bit of investment to bring up to modern standards. The car park could be better arranged for more cars. The toilets need upgrading. Otherwise was very good audio system for quality speech by guest speaker
Fantastic community center helping the needy and training courses to help with finding jobs. They have a well organized staff and I think they deserve recognition for the passion and hard work they put in every single day to welcome EVERYBODY from all over. I have been a few times and it's been lively and people are at peace and happy to get help. I recommend this community center
