I used to love libraries cause they are peaceful and quiet. But I went to this library two times one time I wanted to drink some water and A guy rudely told me not to use the cup to drink water.and second time a security lady rudely told me I can’t drink coffee on that side of the library while everyone else was drinking coffee that side .I almost cried after hearing that cause Im new in uk really to have some nice time.

The Chinese guy who always comes to chapeltown library lives in Gledhow and his local library should be Oakwood library. His university lecturers who have connections with the HMRC keep sending people on benefits to Oakwood library to sit with him whilst he’s on the computer as revenge on him for making a data breach complaint against them back at university. This is why he now goes to Chapeltown library. Although his university lecturers are still sending people over to Chapeltown library, at least it’s bigger than other libraries, meaning that the Chinese guy has more room to move around to avoid and dodge the people that his university lecturers keep sending to the library.

Excellent staff that are very friendly and helpful! If they don't have a particular book they will happily order it in from another library. The library it's self has a great kids corner with a comfortable area for them to sit and read. There is a selection of computers for adults and children to use. They have a service that reminds you when your books and your children's need to be returned. Overall a fantastic library.

THE LIBRARY WOULD NOT LET ME SHOUT AS LOUD AS I COULD WITHIN IT, THAT IS WHY I AM TYPING IN CAPS, USING THE LIBRARY COMPUTER FACILITIES! THE ADULT SECTION IS POOR, WITH NO CURTAINS/BOOTHS TO ALLOW ME TO READ THEM IN PRIVATE. ALSO, THE LORD OF THE RINGS ISN'T QUITE WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE... OVERALL 32%
