Not a particularly big playground, but has sufficient items. It’s surrounded by a nice green field, and across the main road you find Kirkstall Abbey. An ice cream van is usually present. Parking is adjacent (unsure if payment is required), though you can find off street parking in front of it.
It's quite a nice and charming place
Fairly decent, not huge
Kids loved it. Great green space in a built up area. Really clean. Lovely for a picnic. Right next door to abbey house museum and over the road from from the abbey. Car park had reasonably sized spaces too. Parking for coaches and mini buses. Could do with public toilets as nearest are abbey house museum or the abbey. But other than the lack.of public convenience it's a great space to take the kids.
Nice playground in good condition. Lots for kids to do with climbing frames for both younger and older children along with swings for both too. Loads of grass around the playground to have a run around or play and of course the Abbey across the road if the kids want something different
