We had such a nice time at The Hidden Village Leeds. It’s peaceful, well set up, and perfect for families wanting something a little different. My child loved exploring, and I loved how relaxed the whole experience felt. A great addition to family-friendly places in Leeds.

We celebrated my son’s fourth birthday at Hidden Village Leeds today, and I was not sure if all of my guests would enjoy it but to my surprise even my 10 years old daughter and a few of her friends who were about 8 or 9 years old loved this place. Amy with another colleague helped us during the party and they were super friendly and caring, looking after everyone to their best. Playing area was nice and clean. I strongly recommend this place for birthday parties

We had our first visit to The Hidden Village with my 8 year old and it was brilliant! I wasn’t sure if he might be a bit old for it, but he had the best time. He loved the role play, made friends, and didn’t stop smiling. It’s such a nice change from the usual play centres. The location is perfect too, just a short walk from the station, so the trip from Bradford was well worth it. Highly recommend!

I attended Hidden Village Pretend Play today for the first time. My initial impression was that the space is quite small. There is an area to leave coats, bags, and pushchairs, but I felt a bit uncomfortable doing so because it wasn’t locked or supervised, so it seemed like anyone could take the belongings. The play area itself was very secure and well-gated, which meant little ones couldn’t escape. My 2-year-old really enjoyed it — there was lots to do, very interactive activities, plenty of dress-up options, and the kids were free to make a mess without parents feeling stressed. It was lovely to spend some quality time with my daughter. I also enjoyed attending during school hours because all the children were a similar age, which made the environment calmer and more enjoyable. With the space being small, it created a nice chance to talk to other parents too. I liked that I could sit in the café, enjoy a drink, and still easily see where my child was at all times. Overall, I think it was worth the money. It was easy to access, well-run, and the child-to-adult ratio felt safe and appropriate.

The place is nice with lots of games for toddlers. However, I was surprised by the cold, somewhat unpleasant welcome from the person who made us wait in the entrance when all my child wanted was to go play. I would have preferred to pay for my entrance while ordering my coffee at the same time; I thought it was silly to have to make two payments, and it doesn't encourage spending money on the premises! Strangely enough, I didn't get the impression that I was being looked at kindly by some British parents, perhaps because I was a French tourist. In France, we always welcome British people warmly, and we are always happy when our children play with other children on holiday :)
