The playground is in poor state of repair. The safety flooring is pulling up/missing in many places and actually is more of a hazard. Some of the metal of the climbing frames are badly corroded and sharp. It appears the worst areas were once fenced off but the wire fence are now just scattered around. It felt neglected and needs urgent rejuvenation. I didn't feel safe letting the kids play on stuff.
Play park has just been re-done and is brilliant, loads of good climbing stuff for the children. Nice soft flooring. Very friendly atmosphere with loads of families making use of it. Well done LCC for the renovation.
It's a nice and clean park. The kids had lots of fun. They loved it. Theres also a skate park and a basket ball area a minute away. Theres a tennis area in this park aswell but it not right beside the playground. We enjoyed our time here.
Kids play area is often full of men playing music exercising on the equipment, and groups of men huddled together. Not nice. And there's the smell of marijuana coming from the skate park next to it. But ok if you go early.
Great playground, my son loves the climbing frames and big slides. The rubber flooring is always in poor condition though
