My daughter has done one year here and most of the year was spent at home due to classes been cancelled due to not having a tutor. Classes then moved to support a new tutor and the went back to once again no tutor. She made a complaint and was told that it was likely to be 2 years before anything would be done. Online lesson were meant to be set up but this also never happened, Then she had trouble with submitted her work, and when she contact someone to get help with this, that person leaves and no one takes over. So now she is one year in debt, and been told that she is no longer able to continue for her second year.
Not sure what type of education goes on here but it looks to me like most “students” spend all day smoking on the front door step, blocking the pavements, throwing litter and cigarette ends all over the road and generally making the area look like some sort of processing centre
I have been a student at Arden University for some time, they have been really supportive of me during extended periods of severe illness and as an organisation, they really do want the best for their students. There are naturally some bureaucratic processes that need reforming and the Student Support teams need to respond to students quicker. But as a whole, Arden University is a great organisation, that is constantly evolving, and they do listen and take on board students’ feedback.
Absolutely a joke. I transferred from Holborn Canpus, took ages, whereas my girlfriend received faster transfer and timetable etc.. After transfer I got late timetable which one of my session will not be count and this fact impact my attendance, moreover, because of weather our lessons were cancelled and SHOULD receive ZOOM links or as they said on iLearn are available ( which are not). As I did not receive anything on the day of zoom meeting, I attended on the same link as my girlfriend as we are in the same group and I was marked ABSENT... I don't know what student support is doing all day, I get answers after weeks. I hope you fix this
When you have a personal and rational request nobody is willing to help only text book answers with rules that don't apply to everyone because in classroom we are only few present and some time to time others magically appear but the worst part is student finance support department which never ever replied to my emails regarding what I requested from them and only write you when they need something.
