If you are in the city it’s a really close walk especially if you are coming from the train station . The atmosphere is really good it does get busy quickly but when I got there with my friends just to catch up it was cozy. Upstairs is really beautiful and they do have heaters which is good for winter. I would splurge and get the special hot chocolate because the regular one bone is slightly underwhelming. The draft beer is really good though.

The place is a nice environment and the drinks were good, but our experience here was ruined by a very rude member of staff who thought it was appropriate to lecture me before taking payment for the cocktails I ordered. I was the only person stood at the bar, one gentleman was already being served next to me by a male member of staff. Whilst I stood there waiting for a considerable amount of time I witnessed the two female members of bar staff stood looking at their phones doing very little. I very politely asked the male member of staff if there was anyone else serving to which he politely responded and asked one of the girls to serve me. I was not rude, I didn’t mentioned anything about the fact they were stood doing nothing whilst looking at their phones, I simply asked very politely if anyone else would be able to serve me… anyway, one of the girls came over and took my order. She poured the drinks then decided to start her lecture on how rude and “snide” I was for asking her colleague if anyone else was serving. I was so shocked by what she was saying to me that I decided to leave immediately without paying for the 4 cocktails she had poured. I have managed several bars in my time and I know how it is. Staff deserve a time out, but the way they went about the whole thing was just simply out of order and ruined the visit for us. She was very entitled and I don’t expect to be lectured by a staff member when ordering cocktails at £12.50 a go. Unacceptable.

Had an absolutely amazing time at Green Room! I have never been one to spend time in Leeds, but May made me feel so welcomed, and helped me with deciding which cocktail I should get based on my preferences, (it was a Mango Smash!). It was absolutely delicious, and would entirely recommend!

We went for Sunday Roast. Seen loads of posts on Instagram which made me want to go. Food always looks amazing on the Reels. The roast was 👌. We ordered the beef and chicken and a side of pigs in blankets. Loved it. Easy to order at the bar and service was impeccable. Will be going for the cheese night on Wednesdays next time! Can't wait.

It’s alright in here, usually an ok night. There’s a short blonde girl working here however, in the basement on our visit last night, who we have come across a few times and her attitude leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. Asking my friend when serving him if he was “going to say please and thank you now” when I was stood directly next to him, he definitely did “say please and thank you” as he wasn’t raised in a barn and clearly she didn’t hear over the bellowing live music. Not the best look having misery guts like that representing you to be quite honest !
