Popped down today after seeing a flurry of content on social media. What appears to be the main door to a new visitor leads you to the collection point, when it's busy this means you then need to walk around the perimeter of the seating area to get to the back of the queue. Once there you're not allowed to stand close the large opening that leads into the foyer of the offices, apparently if you loiter there too long an alarm sounds. I visited around 10:30 which appears to be a switch over point from breakfast to lunch as there were limited "bakery" items and sandwiches were being loaded onto shelves with writing on that indicated breakfast things had just been removed. There are signs advertising a loyalty scheme near the queue, if you dare to cross the laser beam protecting the foyer area you can scan a QR code thats on a table that has presumably been placed there just to tempt people to break the rules. As you try to get the loyalty app you then realise there's no phone signal and no WiFi available. Get the loyalty app in advance if you're reading this and planning a visit, I now know it unlocks a free coffee but I couldn't see / redeem this due to the poor network and also lost out on points for my first purchase. Not somewhere for the people that like to sip a coffee and work at the table but that's a good thing in my book. Service was fine, nothing exceptional, nothing bad. After a short wait a flat white that was also "fine" was made, again nothing too memorable but I've had worse. The interior decor is nice enough, the side door introduces a pretty bracing draft, music is a pleasant "lo-fi" instrumental kind of thing at a reasonable volume. Pricing fairly standard, menu has a decent range, the sandwiches that were being put out looked good but unsure of pricing on those. I probably won't rush back but I hope it does well as it competes with the nearby generic chains.

Lovely staff, decent coffee and right up there with the best croissants I've had outside of Paris. Highly recommend

Exceptional coffee, and we love the interior and layout of the café. Amazing location for walks, plus they have seating both inside and outside! The Blueberry Matcha with vanilla is amazing!

Bean Coffee Roasters’ new Leeds location is a fantastic addition to the city’s vibrant coffee scene. Situated conveniently, it offers a refreshing alternative to mainstream brands. The freshly roasted beans result in exceptional coffee, and the ambiance is both welcoming and modern. A must-visit for coffee enthusiasts seeking quality and authenticity.

Brand new coffee shop in Wellington Place, serving good quality coffee. Since I work in the same building, it's perhaps easier for me to come down and pop in for a quick coffee break. However, the actual entrance is the one where people queue up after placing an order. Might create a bit of confusion for new customers. Coffee is no doubt smooth, silky and refreshing. And unlike the other known coffee chains where it's just about adding frothy milk to your espresso shot and serving you the cup, the baristas here do take extra effort to prepare your order and often you might see a fancy latte art on your coffee!
