I took my son here to warm up after a chilly walk through town, and it was just the ticket. As soon as you walk in, you’re met by a lovely sweet smell, though the waiting area itself is somewhat sparse. One thing I found really neat was the menu being projected onto the wall—a nice modern touch. My boy went for a hot toffee white chocolate; it was far too sweet for my liking, but he absolutely loved it, so no complaints there! I opted for the tiramisu iced chocolate, which was delicious and something I’d highly recommend if you’re after something a bit different.
Amazing staff with great drinks both hot and cold, a large selection so anyone can find something they like, including non-coffee drinks. We were served by Anna who was very lovely and helped us to pick a drink best suited for us!
Great little stop while on a day trip to Leeds shopping. The white chocolate milkshake was very nice with brownies and whipped cream as an added extra. The hot chocolate was one of the bests my partner has had in a long time! With cream and a marshmallow added as an extra. Nice and clean inside and great people watching spot.
I had a really lovely experience at Cup + Lid. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff truly made the visit special. Maddie and Harriet were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I walked in. Their positive energy and great customer service really stood out. I also have to mention the tiramisu iced coffee which was absolutely delicious. It was easily one of the best iced coffees I’ve had in a while. Overall, Cup + Lid is a fantastic coffee shop with great drinks and even better staff. I’ll definitely be coming back and the staff members really are a credit to the team.
Love the feel of this place, staff are always friendly. I've been here only a couple of times from family recommendation, but I think about this coffee all the time -it's so good. I had the tiramisu chocolate/coffee, and it was a dream. Will be returning to try more! :)
