Meccaway Leeds

I will definitely be eating here again. It didn't have good feedback on Google mainly due to longer delivery times. We ate in and we absolutely loved what we ate. Staff were very friendly, came to check several times if food was OK or if we need anything else etc. I ordered full peri chicken which was cooked to perfection and pizzas too. I also ordered peri burgers they were very moist however they were slightly on the smaller side. Apart from that, I can't think about anything negative. Will be back again in shaa Allah when we visit Leeds again.

The staff are lovely & I regularly order from here. The desserts and milkshakes are always unbelievable and I usually get a parmo wrap which is nice but last night I was literally gagging and spitting it out it honestly tasted like a mouldy corpse. Chips have always been nice but the chicken tasted like ashes & the cheese or bech was sour it was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted in my life I felt like I was being tortured without consent. We tried the ice cream and milkshake, which tasted nothing special. Main reason of our visit was to have faluda which not available. Also Whole store staff was busy with delivery orders.

I have ordered from here various times. Until today they were rather rude. My pizza had no tomato base, disputed it on the phone. I was rather polite in my humblest option. The fella on the phone was coming across as passive aggressive and rather rude. They sent me another pizza which was nice of them. But the delivery bloke came across as condescending and rude. The second pizza comeback slightly the same. From my observations they were just skimping on the sauce. I understand how stressful it is for the staff but it’s no need to be rude to the customers.

Chips ok, salad ok, spicey rice was just brown rice and the meat in the kebab wasn't anything I've ever eaten before, unsure what meat it was , tried abit but left most of it.
