WARNING, cross contamination of Alcoholic ice cream and non alcoholic ice cream. This happens when they rinse the serveing spoon in the same water. They should have a sign displaying this, making is obvious. Please can management fix this issue. thanks.
Visited yesterday the staff were friendly and welcoming.Great flat white coffee often not hot enough in many establishments, this was nice and hot scone delicious. Well done to the team will definitely call again
I recently visited this shop and was extremely disappointed with both their practices and customer service. The staff uses the same spoons for alcohol-based and non-alcoholic ice creams, which is a serious issue for customers who avoid alcohol for religious, health, or personal reasons. I want to thank the man serving me, for pointing out that they were going to dip the spoon in the same pot to clean it. His honesty made me aware of the cross-contamination issue. When I raised this concern to the manager and suggested they use separate spoons and washing dishes, he dismissively said, "What do you want me to do about it?" and walked away instead of listening to my concern. As a visibly Muslim woman, this experience was not only dismissive of my concerns but also felt disrespectful to my beliefs. I hope the management reconsiders their approach and makes necessary changes to accommodate all their customers, instead of brushing off valid concerns. The manager’s attitude stinks! Appalling!
Amazing business. The coffee and tea is fantastic. Presented well and the staff are exceptional. The manager of the business is often on site greeting customers. Even the cakes are fantastic. I am a regular visitor and will always come back. Recommend to anyone.
Very sad to see and experience. Icecream is on point but when tried to sit down in the designated area, a woman staff member came and told us to move as it’s for eat in only, didn’t even have the courtesy to see that I had two toddlers with me. The guy at the till didn’t ask if the order was eat in or take out, just got our Icecreams. Never buying from here again. My pregnant wife just wanted to sit down two mins until kids at Icecream. Shameful behaviour. All the tables were empty apart from one elderly couple.
