Bagaara

This place is by far the best Indian restaurant I've been to in and around Leeds (I've been to many). Blown away by the flavours, totally authentic and complex uses of spices. Very interesting menu too, lots of rarely seen offerings. Friendly and efficient staff, great music and atmosphere. Looking forward to returning.

Went last week Monday night for dinner with family. Not at all busy when we reached. Ordered Mirchi chicken, Bagara chicken and also lamb. Also ordered aloo Vaughan and daal , everything was very tasty and taste like India and not the UK Indian taste. Spice levels are to the point and food was delivered fast on our table. Nice decor as well. Will be surely visiting again.

First visit to Bagaara and we will definitely be back! I had the mutton which fell apart, absolutely delicious. The restaurant is very welcoming and tastefully decorated. The portions were more than enough and excellent value. The service was excellent the waitress was very sweet ❤️

We recently visited Bagaara to celebrate my son’s birthday, and the entire experience was truly memorable. The food was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make the celebration special. The highlight of the meal was the Bagaara Chicken—very spicy and full of bold, rich flavors. We absolutely enjoyed every bite, especially as spice lovers. The Butter Chicken was also outstanding: creamy, well-balanced, and very flavourful, pairing perfectly with naan. The Apollo Fish tasted incredibly authentic, cooked just right with the perfect seasoning. The Andhra Fry Chicken was very delicious and packed with traditional flavors that stood out. We also tried the Tadka Dal, which was amazing—comforting, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The Garlic Naan was soft, fresh, and absolutely yummy, making it a great companion to all the curries. What truly made the visit extra special was the thoughtful gesture from the restaurant—they surprised us with a free cake for my son’s birthday, which really made him happy and made the celebration even more memorable. Overall, Bagaara delivered not just great food but also warm hospitality. Highly recommended for both delicious meals and special occasions. 🎉🍰🍽️

Celebrated Valentine's Day at Bagaara for a last minute booking, luckily we got a table. The food is amazing as always. The chicken majestic for starters is a must try. Service is impeccable, they have given us a free valentine themed dessert, it's so cute and tastes really good too. Such a great gesture. Definitely coming back ❤️
