Extremely attentive and kind staff! Easy to to order and food comes out relatively quickly, in small cute plates perfect for a date night. Personally, I think it’s worth going paying the weekend evening prices as you have access to sashimis and grilled scallops (my favourite). I didn’t really like some of the seating areas, it’s a little uncomfortable and felt like a cafeteria but if you were lucky you would get a nice corner. Didn’t take too much away from the experience though!

Booked the weekend evening menu for a special occasion in August. Service was impeccable from start to finish. Front of house explained how everything worked, seated us straight away, and drinks arrived quickly. Ordering is done on a tablet, and food is brought to your table as soon as it’s cooked. Everything came out hot and fresh, not like it had been sitting around. The wonton soup was perfectly umami, sushi rice well seasoned, and the nigiri clearly hand-moulded. Beef tataki could have been a touch rarer, but still excellent. King prawn tempura was freshly battered and piping hot, while the sirloin steaks were melt-in-the-mouth. The scallops were a little wet, likely from being sauced before grilling, and the udon noodles were slightly wetter than I’d prefer, but both still full of flavour. We were given a dining time limit. Although the evening slot is longer than lunch, we could have done with a bit more time to make the experience feel less rushed. Staff are very efficient, giving a polite reminder 10–15 minutes before your end time and bringing the bill a few minutes before, which keeps things moving smoothly and fairly for all guests. Left extremely satisfied and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service.

First time here, heard some very good things. The sushi was very nice and fresh. Lot of variety to choose from. The noodles were tasty. The chicken dishes were at a variety too, also very tasty. There's too many things to try lol can't pick everything 😭 Only downside I'd say is that some of the fried food was too oily. Didn't have a nice after taste and desserts were very limited. Not to say the place was bad. It was definitely great. The service was top, food arrival was quick. Will need to deffo come back.

Really nice food. Theres plenty of it. We sat for 1hr 30mins and were not left wanting. Service is great the staff were really polite and helpful. Love the idea of ordering on the touch screen. My only minor issue were foods that were advertised as spicy weren’t. But that could be a personal preference. Defo worth a visit.

Blue Sakura - unusual, modern hospitality, partly shaped by its location near the Arena. You order via tablet and can keep adding to your order if you're still hungry. If you're used to chatting with waiting staff and hearing personal explanations about each dish, this place feels different. Ideal for those who just want food without overbearing attention (which, I admit, I already miss, ha ha). The food was good, though I found the selection of vegetable dishes and salads a bit limited - but that's just me, not being much of a meat-eater. Still, one of the nice spots to sit before the Arena comes alive and to enjoy a different approach to hospitality ✨
