Visited Ciao Bella restaurant and had an amazing experience. We ordered the risotto and pasta, and both were absolutely excellent . The presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the service friendly and attentive. Definitely a place worth coming back to.

Belting little Italian restaurant we hadn't seen before. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely food and not badly priced either. We will definitely be coming back👍👍😋😋

We had a horrible and bizarre time at Ciao Bella a few months ago. It was my birthday and it was my first and last time there. I was with 4 family members. Our waiter that day was the manager of the restaurant, I believe he said. When he came to take our order, I had started to feel unwell, so I said for my family to go ahead and order, as I had suddenly lost my appetite and i might order something small if i felt better in half an hour. The manager said ok and my 4 family members ordered. I got up to go to the bathroom, and once i was away from my family, the manager cornered me in corner of the restaurant upstairs before i even had got to the bathroom downstairs and made bizarre threats to me that he would be watching me throughout the meal to make sure i didnt take a bite of my family's food. He was so pushy that I left the conversation crying. Just to remind you - he made me cry on my birthday. I went to the bathroom as i was trying to get to before he cornered me and cried in the bathroom. I came back to my family and cried at the table and explained his bizarre and unkind way of speaking to me. My family were furious. The manager saw me crying at the table and came over - i thought he would apologise but instead he doubled down on the threats to my whole family who were speechless. Their food came (brought by another waiter - the manager stopped waiting on us from then on as he knew he had crossed the line) and we paid and left as soon as the food was over. I obviously did not feel comfortable to order any food so i didn't. My family assured that i did not miss out on anything as the pizza and pasta they had ordered was nothing special. It looked fairly bogstandard. My sister informed the waiter that the behaviour from the manager had been appalling. It has actually taken me a few months to write this review as I was so frightened by the way this man made sure he got me alone before he made those threats about watching me. I will never go back to Ciao Bella. My family will never go back. Anyone I speak to about this incident has assured me that they will never go. I feel uncomfortable even walking past. That person working at Ciao Bella knows what he did, knows he said and should be ashamed of himself.

Amended- To reply to their response which is false. Facts are as follows- The younger friendly waiter actually said they 'may' accept our booking but without the wowcher voucher! Are you joking? You didnt refuse us service at all you just kept saying we didn't have a booking which we proved we did. A couple came in literally just before us, they kept the door open for us and got a table? So you were willing to accept our booking if we didn't pursue our wowcher booking? My husband was 100% correct it is like the 1980s..you have receipts stapled to a diary that's all crossed out looks a farce you spent about 10 minutes trying to find our receipt. No wonder you don't know who's booked what. Trying getting a proper system in place. Nothing from the owner not sorry yes I can see you have made the booking as you've made a payment and offer a table. This is what you would actually expect to happen as you were empty apart from a few tables? We came for a family meal but I wouldn't waste my money. We were frustrated as you can imagine but you have zero people skills - nada, nothing. Imagine being questioned you haven't booked, show us your receipt. I felt like I was under interrogation. You found our receipt (eventually!..but you had the wrong name attached it said Dan?!), refunded me (after my husband having to show proof of payment on his banking app!) but just admit you don't like your customers using vouchers. The chef was staring over with his arms folded he obviously wanted an early finish and he got one. You close at 7pm and didnt want our booking so pretended we didnt have it in the first place. You are only 3.4 stars on trip advisor and your negative reviews are all of the same negative nature. Problems with bookings, rude nature, it always semes to be the customers fault ha! etc.no wonder customers get frustrated its a joke. I felt like I worked there having to find my receipt in your 'diary'. No wonder you're empty, you have no customer service skills whatsoever. Reported to wowcher. Zero stars 100%. I had to put 1 star as wouldn't post without at least 1 star..whats all that about?! Absolute joke of a place! Rang to book our table for 4 on Thursday for tonight. Came in told me I didn't have a table? Showed him my bank of the £20 deposit. Then he said I'd booked for tomorrow? I said again I have work tomorrow? So definitely did not book for tomorrow..no apologies They don't even close until 7pm and wasn't even full so could have easily accommodate us a couple had come in just a few mins earlier. Nothing just said they'd refund us. Looked liked they'd spoken to chef, seen our Wowcher voucher and didn't want to know. Can see from the reviews they don't like the wowcher bookings...so why take them? Also told me he could see a table for Dan for Monday? My name is Sam? I confirmed again I said I had booked a table for tonight, paid deposit & showed him. I have eaten there before and it was lovely. Thanks Ciao Bella...let me sort this through wowcher for a refund. A tip for customer service please don't accept bookings if you can't accept or take them. I'd like a response too but given your lack of customer service I doubt it.

Delicious food, delightful service, and an altogether fantastic evening out! We were escorted in like royalty, doted upon during the entire meal, and served up delicious pasta that nearly had me drooling as it was placed in front of me. I had some magical pesto-like concoction that was so flavourful and cooked to al dente perfection.
